The International Cycling Union (UCI) and Abu Dhabi Sports Council announced the launch of a new cycling race. The race, named 'ABU DHABI STRADE BIANCHE', will take place for the first time on October 4, 2022, in the capital of the UAE.
It is planned that the ABU DHABI STRADE BIANCHE race will become part of the UCI Gran Fondo World Series calendar, where cycling enthusiasts can compete in various distances and categories. The sports event will also include a race for professional cyclists, both women and men, which will add competitiveness and dynamics to the event as a whole.
Statements from the President of the International Cycling Union David Lappartient: "This new race will showcase participants and spectators the breathtaking beauty of the track, as well as its unique experience."
